ABOUT ME
I enjoy collaborating with other experts who support the facilitation of my programs. My associates are close colleagues who are as passionate about your team's success as I am. However, I am the main facilitator so here's a bit more about my passion, projects, certifications and qualifications.
My academic focus combines my extensive experience in leadership development and group dynamics with my love of animals and interest in sustainability. My doctorate work is in the ‘social politics of meat’, an exploration of what is talked about, and not talked about, concerning the animals we raise and consume. I have a particular interest in the ‘meat paradox’- the fact that we can both love and eat animals, and the cognitive dissonance and dissociation this entails.
I have a deep love of nature and our environment, so the challenges of climate change, pollution and environmental degradation disturb me greatly. Hence, I love working with environmental groups, and any organisations serious about sustainability and social justice. I'm also an experienced board director, having spent 10 years on the boards of various environmental groups.
